Interesting Development In Naomi & Sasha Banks WWE Return Speculation WWE

An interesting development has emerged fuelling speculation of a return for WWE’s Sasha Banks and Naomi.

Both Sasha (Mercedes Varnado) and Naomi (Trinity Fatu) were originally scheduled to appear at Vulture Festival in Los Angeles, which runs from November 12-13.

However, the former women’s tag team champions will no longer be appearing due to a reported ‘scheduling conflict.’

Vulture Festival organizers sent out a notice to festivalgoers, explaining the alteration.

The notice reads (via Sportskeeda):

“This notification is a Vulture Festival event update. Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, Mercedes Varnado and Trinity Fatu are no longer able to participate in their event on Saturday, November 12th at 8pm.”

Is this sudden scheduling change an indication of an upcoming WWE return for Naomi and Sasha?

There’s no word on whether that actually is the case, but it’s definitely gotten some fans excited about the possibility.

Previously, it has been reported that both remain on good terms with WWE under the Paul Levesque regime.

To refresh your memory, Sasha and Naomi have not been seen on WWE since their backstage walkout during Raw on May 16.

According to reports from Dave Meltzer, the two had agreed in principle to return under the new regime led by Levesque as Chief Content Creator.

Naomi is said to have been close to the end of her contract when she walked out, although WWE may have frozen her deal while she was away from performing, and is reportedly in talks over a return.

It also recently emerged that Sasha Banks is still under contract with WWE. You can read more on this story right here.

Both Sasha and Naomi have been involved in other projects since stepping back from the ring, including walking the runway at New York Fashion Week.

They were recently pictured with locker room buddies The New Day, and Trinity Fatu’s husband, Jimmy Uso, at the premiere of Disney’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Sasha Banks continued to stir the pot with a tweet addressing the speculation. The Boss tweeted, “I hope the rumors are true.”

Banks has also been sharing pictures on Instagram of her training in the ring around the world.

Time will tell if the rumors are true and Sasha and Naomi will return to the ring after a lengthy hiatus.
