Top Star Doesn’t Believe UFC Fighters Can Succeed In WWE WWE

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has shared his belief that UFC fights can’t successfully transition into WWE.

With UFC and WWE both under the TKO umbrella, Rollins was asked about crossover potential by Marc Raimondi.

In response to the question, Seth Rollins replied:

“No, because they don’t have the stamina for it, man. They don’t fight every single weekend, right?

“This championship goes everywhere. It goes everywhere, it goes to like Biloxi, you know what I’m saying?

“They, especially the top stars over there, they’re catered to a certain way. That’s great. That’s great. That’s their style. That’s what works for them.

“And, you fight maybe once or twice a year. You’re crazy, you’re fighting three times a year.

“To fight over one hundred times a year, make all those towns, still be able to train and still be able to do all the media, it’s an exhausting industry.

“I don’t want to knock Ronda Rousey because I love Ronda, she did a lot for our industry, for women in our industry and the fight industry in general.

“It was tough for Ronda. She tried her damnedest and it was hard for her.

“I’d love someone to come over and take a crack if you think you can hang, but it’s hard.”

Asked if he would call anyone out, Rollins went on to say:

“I call them all out. Try it out. I can’t do what they do. I’d go in there and get knocked out or choked out in two seconds.

“I’d probably do better than Punk but I still would lose, most likely. But, they can’t come and do what we do either.

“They’re the same, same umbrella, but two totally different worlds.”

Rousey made her last WWE appearance at SummerSlam August 2023 facing Shayna Baszler in an MMA Rules Match.

In November 2022, she shared her thoughts on her run in WWE, saying that she had “more of a voice” and the “confidence to use it.”
