WWE Stars Reveal Why They’re Refusing To Attend SmackDown WWE

SmackDown Tag Team Champions Austin Theory and Grayson Waller revealed why they’re refusing to attend Friday’s (April 12) episode of SmackDown.

While many people are looking forward to the first episode of SmackDown following WrestleMania 40, Waller and Theory recently stated that they won’t be flying in for this week’s show.

Theory has now shared a video to Twitter featuring him and Waller posing and dancing to Theory’s theme music.

Stating that they’re currently busy filming a rap video, Theory wrote:

Won’t make work today…. Felt like making a Rap Video Instead🚀 #ATownDownUnder #detroitwhat #smackdownseeya

Waller shared Theory’s post, telling Nick Aldis that they are now part-time stars following their title win.

Waller tweeted:

Just so you know @RealNickAldis, we have officially elected for the Part Time Champ schedule

Theory and Waller became champions at WrestleMania 40. The duo were in action during the Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match, during which the Raw and SmackDown tag titles were on the line.

Team A-Town Down Under retrieved the SmackDown Tag Team Championship after just over seven minutes of action.

R-Truth and The Miz claimed the Raw Tag Team Championship ten minutes after that, meaning that the Judgment Day left WrestleMania 40 without either of their tag-team title belts.

US titleholder Logan Paul is the only champion assigned to SmackDown who retained his gold at WrestleMania 40, with IYO SKY dropping the WWE Women’s Championship to Bayley, and Cody Rhodes winning the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship from Roman Reigns.
