WWE Star Explains Why 2024 Royal Rumble Elimination Was A ‘Great Thing’ WWE

A WWE star has explained why their elimination from the 2024 Royal Rumble was a “great thing” and the beginning of a strong partnership with a fellow roster member.

In something seen many times in Rumble matches of the past, a WWE star tried to pull a fast one on their tag team partner and eliminate them from the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble.

Number one entrant in the match Natalya had already been in the match for 20 minutes by the time she was joined by Tegan Nox at number 12.

However, her attempt to catch the less-experienced star off guard backfired and resulted in an elimination at Nox’s hands.

Unfortunately for Nox, her joy would be short-lived as Bayley snuck up behind the Welsh star and dumped her out of the match immediately afterwards.

While one would expect this to potentially cause dissension between the two stars, it appears as if the moment ultimately led to a great deal of pride for Natalya instead.

In an exclusive WWE backstage interview with Byron Saxton after her elimination Natalya said:

“You know Byron, I actually should be more upset than I am, but in a way this was like a light bulb moment for me with Tegan. Because now I feel like Tegan’s finally, she’s finally getting it.

“She’s finally realising that it is every woman for themselves, and I’m finally just seeing her come alive, and I really like it.

Byron: “So this is a good thing for you and TEGAN NOX?”

“I think this is a great thing. This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”

Nox’s eliminator Bayley would proceed to win the entire match, breaking the iron-woman record for the longest entrant ever in the process.

While it’s not confirmed who Bayley will challenge at WrestleMania just yet, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has thrown out a suggestion as to a special stipulation between the two in Philadelphia.
