A WWE NXT star has issued a challenge to Seth Rollins after his successful title defense at WWE Crown Jewel and now the champ has responded.
Carmelo Hayes tweeted during WWE Crown Jewel 2023:
“Let me and Seth cook. A hood classic.”
With Seth Rollins sliding into the replies to say:
“I’m waitin”
Rollins successfully defended his WWE Heavyweight Championship at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 against Drew McIntyre and narrowly avoided another disaster.
After the match, Damian Priest appeared as though he was planning to cash in his Money in the Bank contract but instead, the briefcase was stolen by a hooded figure.
The figure would reveal himself to be Sami Zayn who ran off through the crowd with Senior Money in the Bank’s signature purple Money in the Bank briefcase.
For his part Carmelo Hayes just lost his WWE NXT Championship title shot against reigning champ Ilja Dragunov after an appearance by Trick Williams distracted Melo.
