Top WWE Star Addresses Injury Concern Ahead Of WWE WrestleMania 40 WWE

A top WWE star has addressed fans’ injury concerns regarding her status for WWE WrestleMania 40.

On the March 25 edition of WWE Raw, fans noticed that Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was sporting a brace on her wrist, leading to questions regarding her current status.

Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show in Philadelphia, PA, Ripley was quizzed regarding her wrist injury and the severity of it heading into WrestleMania 40.

Ripley said:

“It’s an old thing. It’s been there for a couple of months and this is more so I don’t hurt myself more.

“The doctors, they know that I’m pretty irresponsible at times and I’m not gonna stop going to the gym and doing stupid things. So they’re like, ‘You are confined to a brace, my young girl, and you’re not allowed to take it off.'”

Ripley then addressed potentially wearing the brace for her match with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40, to which she answered:

“I probably won’t wrestle in it because I tried to wrestle and it at a live event and… It’s not practical at all.”

Based on the leaked WrestleMania 40 match order, The Eradicator and The Man are set to open WrestleMania 40 weekend tomorrow night (April 6).
