WWE Raw star Ivy Nile says former multi-time WWE Champion and Hollywood megastar The Rock was proud to see her in the company.
Before signing with WWE and becoming Ivy Nile, Emily Andzulis was a fitness competitor who competed in the NBC hit series, “The Titan Games.”
“The Titan Games” was hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Nile was crowned the winner of season one of the series.
The Great One crossed paths again with Ivy Nile at the “Day One” edition of WWE Raw as Johnson returned to WWE programming, while Nile challenged Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship.
In a new interview with Ella Jay of SEScoops, Ivy Nile was asked if she and The Rock met up backstage. She answered:
“It’s insane. It was almost five or six years ago that the Titan Games happened. Next thing you know, I’m in WWE and I see him, not a lot, but more than the average person would.”
“When he was at Day One, I didn’t know he was going to be there. Next thing you know, I saw him, and I was like ‘wait a second.'”
“We had a short conversation and he was super proud that a Titan of his is now here. It’s really cool.”
“I got to talk to him a little bit and I had a match that night, so there was definitely a lot going on, for sure,”
“The Titan Games” lasted two seasons on NBC. It remains to be seen if The Rock will return to the squared circle in a match at the time of this writing.
