WWE Star & More Announced For Upcoming NJPW Show NJPW

NJPW has now announced the full card for the World Tag League and Super Junior tag league finals event.

At the event, the tournament finals of NJPW’s two tag-team tournaments will take place.

Lio Rush & YOH will face off against Ace Austin & Chris Bey in the Super Jr Tag League finals, to determine the challengers for the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 17.

The #1 contenders to FTR’s IWGP Tag Team Championship will be determined when Aussie Open square off with Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI in the World Tag League finals.

A NEVER Openweight Championship bout will also take place at the event, with WWE star Karl Anderson set to defend his gold against Hikuleo.

Anderson won the title at Dominion in June, and returned to WWE in October while still holding the gold.

Here’s the announced card for the event:

– Aussie Open vs. Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI  – World Tag League Finals

– Lio Rush & YOH vs. Ace Austin & Chris Bey – Super Junior Tag League Finals

– Karl Anderson (c) vs. Hikuleo – NEVER Openweight Championship

– Kazuchika Okada, Tama Tonga & Master Wato vs. Jay White, Taiji Ishimori & Gedo

– Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano, Ryusuke Taguchi & Clark Connors vs. Tetsuya Naito, SANADA, BUSHI & Titan

– Minoru Suzuki , Lance Archer, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & DOUKI vs. EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi, SHO & Dick Togo

– Tiger Mask, Robbie Eagles, Alex Coughlin & Gabriel Kidd vs. Great-O-Khan, Aaron Henare, TJP & Francesco Akira

– KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight vs. TMDK 

– EL LINDAMAN & Alex Zayne vs. Ryohei Oiwa & Kosei Fujita

Former WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks (Mercedes Varnado) is reportedly expected to be at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4, 2023.
