WWE has announced a change to the lineup for the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, currently ongoing on the NXT brand.
Two matches have taken part in the tournament so far, with Kelani Jordan defeating Izzi Dame and Lola Vice defeating Dani Palmer.
The next match scheduled for the tournament would have seen Meta Four’s Jakara Jackson taking on Arianna Grace, but that will no longer be happening.
Per WWE, Jackson has not been medically cleared to compete, and thus will be withdrawing from the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.
In her place, newcomer Brinley Reece will make her debut, and face off against Arianna Grace.
Reece is the new ring name for Breanna Ruggiero, who has yet to make her debut on NXT or NXT Level Up, though has worked matches on NXT live events.
The other first round match will see another newcomer, Jaida Parker, make her television debut against Karmen Petrovic.
