WWE Star Clarifies He Isn’t Retired Despite Not Wrestling For Over A Year WWE

Despite after having not competed in the ring for over a year, a WWE star has clarified that he isn’t retired.

MVP recently made his return to WWE screens when he accompanied Omos to the ring for the SummerSlam Battle Royal however according to the star, he’s not retired just yet.

Taking to Instagram to share a reel of himself working out set to his very own song, MVP clarified that he is not retired.

MVP writing:

“I’m not “retired” YET…”

MVP’s last in-ring appearance came against the Street Profits in a tag team match where he teamed with Omos in July 2022.

While Montel Vontavious Porter may be currently managing Omos, he had his own storied in-ring career spanning decades before transitioning into a primarily managerial role on-screen.

Fans had held out hope for a Hurt Business reunion after the trio of MVP, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin were featured in the background of other scenes across WWE television and separately, in January, MVP featured in a backstage segment attempting to make amends with Lashley.

However, the reunion would not come to pass as it seems Bobby Lashley has moved on with creating a new stable. To read more about the trio that seemingly debuted on SmackDown, you can click this link.

MVP and Omos are both free agents per the 2023 WWE Draft and therefore are eligible to appear on Raw, SmackDown or even NXT if they want.
