WWE Star Prevents Money In The Bank Cash-In At Crown Jewel WWE

Señor Money in the Bank Damian Priest tried to cash-in his world championship contract at Crown Jewel 2023.

In a back-and-forth World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre, which opened the show in Riyadh, Rollins would once again retain.

Although McIntyre came up short in the contest, he had done a number on Rollins’ already damaged back throughout, leaving Rollins in a perilous position afterwards.

And, as many anticipated would happen, Priest looked to capitalise on Rollins’ fragile state storming to the ring to cash-in his briefcase.

However, before Priest could get into the ring to capitalise he would be shoved into the ring post by a hooded individual, who revealed himself to be none other than Sami Zayn.

Not only did Zayn prevent the cash-in but he would also swipe the briefcase and disappear through the Riyadh crowd.

So to clarify, this was not an official failed cash-in, but Zayn currently has possession of Priest’s briefcase.

Zayn and Judgment Day’s issues have been prevalent for months on end, with the most recent edition of Raw closing with a one-on-one bout between Zayn and Priest, which Priest won by DQ.

Clearly it seems as if the issues between Zayn and Judgment Day are set to continue leading into WWE’s next big Premium Live Event Survivor Series on November 25, which WWE has now confirmed will feature WarGames.
