‘I’d Just Like One’ – WWE Star Responds To Charlotte Flair 17 Championship Goal WWE

WWE star Baron Corbin has reacted to a recent post about Charlotte Flair’s career ambitions by revealing one of his own.

In a recent appearance on NBC’s New York Live, Charlotte Flair revealed that she wanted to break the world title reigns record held by both John Cena and Ric Flair.

Speaking to host Sara Gore on New York Live, Flair explained:

“John Cena tied my dad. So now I have Cena and my dad to beat. But no, I’m definitely chasing 17.

“And I think if, or when I break the record, it’ll be like a woman did it in a male-dominated industry.

“And I hope that encourages women in all industries that we can do it all.”

Baron Corbin would respond to the news on Twitter, sending a hopeful message of his own:

“I’d like just 1.”

Charlotte Flair has currently had 14 top title runs, with Cena and Flair standing on 16 each.

Baron Corbin has been a WWE United States Champion and is currently in NXT where he recently faced Gable Steveson in the Olympic athlete’s debut match.

He has recently spoken about the “wild” fan reactions, which saw him being cheered over the supposed babyface Steveson.

Corbin became a free agent in the WWE Draft of May 2023 allowing him to appear on any brand.
