WWE Star Returns After 9 Months Out Injured

WWE Star Returns After 9 Months Out Injured WWE

A WWE NXT star has returned to action after 9 months out due to injury in a tag team match tonight in Florida.

Last in action losing a match to Blair Davenport on the January 9 episode of NXT, Nikkita Lyons made an in-ring return tonight.

Lyons made her return in a mixed tag match where she teamed with Dante Chen, with their team picking up the win.

You can see photos from tonight’s show in Davenport, Florida below.

Nikkita Lyons was heavily pushed when she first debuted in NXT but has been sidelined with injury during much of the last two years.

After being out of action due to a torn ACL and meniscus from January to December 2023, she unfortunately suffered another serious ACL injury in January 2024 that has kept her off of television since then.

Tonight’s WWE NXT live event went ahead despite some inclement weather in Florida due to Hurricane Helene. The hurricane delayed TNA Wrestling tapings that were scheduled for this weekend.
