WWE Star Wishes AEW Rival A ‘Speedy Recovery’ Following Health Scare

WWE Star Wishes AEW Rival A ‘Speedy Recovery’ Following Health Scare AEW, WWE

A WWE star has admitted they “cannot stand” an AEW star but wishes them a “speedy recovery” from their bout of diverticulitis.

After news broke of Kenny Omega’s admittance into hospital with Diverticulitis, the wrestling world has been united in wishing The Cleaner a healthy and safe recovery.

While this has included those close to Omega such as Tony Khan and Chris Jericho, it seems as if one man has been able to put his ‘differences’ with the AEW star behind him to also wish him well following the scare.

Taking to Twitter, WWE star Xavier Woods, who has had a playful feud with Omega, typically regarding video games; posted a message to his rival while also promoting the pair’s collaborative top ten video games of 2023 list they made for Giant Bomb.

While I cannot stand @KennyOmegamanX, I wish him a speedy recovery.

And per usual around this time of year we met up to yell at each other about our top 10 games of the year @giantbomb

Prior to Woods’ post Omega himself also jumped on Twitter to promote the list, saying:

Hello there. It’s been a short while.

I encountered one of my many enemies and things got heated, (as they usually do with @AustinCreedWins).

It’s wordy but I hope it’s still a fun read! (Return of the video game top 10 duel!)

As mentioned both Omega and Woods have a bit of history when it comes to gaming, dating back to the time both The New Day and The Elite faced off in Street Fighter.

Wrestletalk would like to continue to wish Omega well in his ongoing recovery.
