A WWE star has made the announcement that he will be ‘stepping away from in-ring competition indefinitely’ on tonight’s episode of NXT.

With Ridge Holland taking to the ring in a somber manner, he started the segment by thanking several known names including William Regal and Shawn Michaels.
Going on to say that he could not in good conscious run the risk of hurting himself or someone else again, he was aware of the things that people said about him.
He said that he refused to let this job take away from the things he cares most about in life, which is being the best Dad and husband he possibly can be. Making note that he was prioritizing his mental health, he had an announcement.

He expressed gratitude to WWE NXT for allowing him to come there and have one last shot at redemption, however it didn’t work out.
He left the ring to a chant of ‘Thank you Ridge!’
