WWE Star Thanks Fellow Roster Member For Saving His Career

A WWE name has credited a current star for saving his career from being abruptly ended after a recent angle on TV.

On this week’s NXT Halloween Havoc Night Two (October 31), Mr Stone looked to seek revenge on Bron Breakker for putting Von Wagner on the shelf on the September 5 edition of NXT.

However, after a brief and one-sided encounter, it was the former two-time NXT Champion that would get the win, putting Stone away with a brutal-looking Spear.

Breakker would then look to perform a repeat of the incident that put Wagner on the sidelines, propping Stone’s head on the lower part of steel ring steps, while wielding the top half to crush Stone’s skull.

Thankfully for Stone, Wagner made his big return to the Performance Center for the first time in two months, fending off Breakker with a chokeslam onto the steel steps.

While Stone wasn’t conscious enough to realise what was happening at the time, he would later jump on Twitter after Halloween Havoc to send a message of thanks to his friend, the fans and Bron Breakker, saying:

Thanks to the #wweuniverse for the support these past few weeks.

And thanks to Von for saving my career from being ended.

I know in the end Bron is shook now.

Stone wasn’t done there however, as he set yet another message of defiance to Breakker following their match.

Reposting a video of Breakker’s devastating Spear on Stone at the match’s conclusion, Stone also added:

He said he was gonna end me. I’m still breathing…

Wagner and Breakker will look to finally settle things in a long-awaited grudge match on the November 7 edition of NXT.
