WWE Star Reflects On Moment With Paul Heyman Backstage At Payback WWE

A WWE star has reflected on a moment with Paul Heyman backstage at WWE Payback.

Tiffany Stratton has risen up the ranks and become one of the “can’t miss” prospects on the WWE NXT brand.

Most recently, Stratton headlined the NXT No Mercy premium live event against Becky Lynch in an Extreme Rules Match for the NXT Women’s Championship. She even made an appearance on a main roster PLE when she confronted Lynch backstage at WWE Payback.

In a new interview with WrestleRant’s Graham “GSM” Matthews, Tiffany Stratton revealed that Paul Heyman came up to her after one of her encounters with Becky Lynch and praised her for holding her own. She said:

“I actually had Paul Heyman come up to me, and he said that I did a really good job in my backstage with Becky with holding my own.”

“Yeah, just like holding my own and being able to stand out even with Becky Lynch right there next to me.”

Confirming that the moment at Payback gave her some reassurance in terms of her future in WWE, Tiffany said:

“Yeah, it’s definitely a little reassuring for sure to know that they have been putting me on Raw and giving me backstages here and there.”

“It’s definitely been reassuring and I’m really excited [for] when I get called up. I hope it’s soon, but whenever it’s right, I will be ready.”

Becky Lynch will make her next NXT Women’s Championship defense against Lyra Valkyria on the October 24 Halloween Havoc Night 1 edition of WWE NXT.
