Ahead of an rare upcoming match, a WWE name reminds fans of their storied in-ring past with a throwback snap from TNA Wrestling.
After a few weeks of storyline set-up, Mr. Stone is set to tag with Von Wagner in his upcoming in-ring return.
In the past few weeks on NXT, Von Wagner lost to Noam Dar in an NXT Heritage Cup Championship bout, but said he the part that he was most disappointed by was Meta-Four being mean to Stone’s kids.
With encouragement from Wagner and his adorable twins, Robert Stone eventually relented and agreed to join Von Wagner to take on Noam Dar and Oro Mensah on the February 13 episode of NXT.
Ahead of his return to in-ring action, Mr. Stone has made sure to remind fans of his rich in-ring history, writing on Twitter:
“Big man brings the speed…
“Bigger man brings the strength…
“This ain’t my 1st rodeo w/ a tag team dynamic like this…
“Me and Von are ready for Tuesday…”
In the throwback snap, Mr. Stone is posed with Rob Terry during their days together in TNA Wrestling.
Known at the time as Robbie T and Robbie E, their pair had a Jersey Shore themed pair which then turned into a feud.
Elsewhere in NXT, the NXT Tag Title will also be on the line on this week’s show as The Family (Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo) will defend against the winners of the Dusty Cup, the Wolf Dogs (Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker).
