A WWE star may be set to join forces with an unlikely new tag team partner following a segment on this week’s NXT (February 20).
After many months of unexpected friendship, it seems as if Chase U’s Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne’s time as a tandem may be coming to an end.
During Jayne’s match with Arianna Grace, the former Toxic Attraction member looked to employ some dirty tactics in order to get the win, asking Hail’s assistance to do so.
Hail refused, however fellow Chase U member Jazmyn Nyx would have no such moral dilemma, stepping in to help Jayne pick up the win.
When an awkward interaction ensued following the bell between Hail and Jayne, the former took herself to the locker room – cutting a dejected figure – not only for her friendship with Jayne being on the rocks, but also her lacklustre Valentines Day date with fellow star Riley Osborne.
That was until Fallon Henley appeared and comforted the 20-year-old, seemingly teasing a new alliance between the two in the future.
Henley has had her own turmoil to deal with as of late, with the in-fighting between her former stable-mates Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs taking place in recent weeks, culminating in a match between the two on this week’s show.
