A pair of WWE stars have paid tribute to Dana Brooke after she was released on Thursday, September 21, after 10 years with the company.
Dana Brooke, who had been signed to WWE since 2013, was part of a group of talent cuts announced yesterday, along with the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, Mustafa Ali and many others.
As has been the case with the names mentioned above, many WWE stars have taken to social media in support of Brooke, including two rising NXT talents that had most recently featured both against and alongside the 34-year-old.
Kelani Jordan, who had been Brooke’s understudy on NXT programming since the veteran made her way to the gold brand in June, posted a heartfelt message to her mentor on Twitter, saying:
Forever my mentor, forever my friend
While Brooke’s recent on-screen rival Cora Jade also had kind words to share via her Instagram story, saying:
I wish I could’ve got to beat you up a few more times. Til next time.
Brooke has yet to publicly comment on her release as of this time.
We at WrestleTalk would like to also wish Brooke all the best in her post-WWE future.
