At tonight’s WWE SmackDown New Years Revolution, a group of returning stars emerged to begin a new feud in the new year.
As Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits were in the ring giving a promo about their goals for 2024, they were interrupted by some familiar faces.
With a countdown appearing on the screen, Karrion Kaross and Scarlett made an entrance (the former now with dark hair), they were joined by legendary manager Paul Ellering.
Meanwhile, while the trio in the ring were distracted by the scene on the entrance ramp, they would be attacked.
Lashley and the Street Profits were attacked from behind by a returning duo, AOP (Authors of Pain) as Akam and Rezar made a big return after almost four years away from the company.
Forming an ‘Unholy Union’ according to Corey Graves, the three stood tall as ‘over 600 pounds of unbridled destruction’.
Technically ‘Unholy Union’ was announced as a tag team moniker for Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn back in October but then weren’t seen again until a recent Holiday Havoc match return.
