A former WWE star is reportedly set to be at this week’s WWE Superstar Spectacle special event in India.
Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingNews.co), the Great Khali is expected to be at the Superstar Spectacle show in some capacity.
It is currently unclear what his role on the show will be.
This comes after Natalya called for the WWE Hall of Famer to be added to the show.
Natalya will be in action at Superstar Spectacle, against WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
Below is the announced card for the September 8 show:
– Rhea Ripley vs Natalya – Women’s World Championship
– Seth Rollins & John Cena vs. Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser
– Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Sanga & Veer Mahaan
– Shanky, Jinder Mahal, Bron Breakker and Matt Riddle to appear
Becky Lynch was supposed to be at the show but is unable to travel due to a tear in her passport.
The PWInsider Elite report also noted that while WWE will have cameras in the arena, there are no known plans to broadcast the show.
