NXT Champion Sets Conditions On Main Roster Call Up

A current NXT champion has set conditions for their main roster call up, though isn’t in a rush to be on Raw or SmackDown.

Tiffany Stratton is the current NXT Women’s Champion and was recently cited as a reason for a boost in show ratings.

Before the recent WWE Draft, Stratton spoke about wanting to remain in NXT as a way of honing her skills.

That doesn’t mean that she hasn’t caught the eye of main roster stars, with Maxxine Dupri suggesting Stratton would fit Maximum Male Models.

Stratton, however, has a different view of what should bring her to the main roster, revealing to Sam Roberts of Notsam Wrestling:

“I want to, when I get called up, I want to be a threat. I want to be someone that is like, ‘Oh cr*p, Tiffany is here, she is ready.’

“I don’t want to be called up and be pushed to the side for a little bit. I want to be called up and be a threat to everyone.

“If I have another year in NXT and make a name for myself and hold some gold, maybe, I feel like I can be at that level.”

Stratton is a gymnast and bodybuilder and was recruited by WWE in August 2021 making her in-ring debut in November of that year.

Carmelo Hayes and Bron Breakker brawled and the show went off the air with both men down in the ring
