An injured star has called out the “hate” after The Vision recaptured the World Tag Team Championship on WWE Raw.

The July 6 episode of WWE Raw saw the Street Profits put the World Tag Team Championship on the line against The Vision (Austin Theory & Bron Breakker).

Thanks to a distract and interference from Maxxine Dupri, it was the team of Theory and Breakker who would walk away with the championship.

Addressing the title change on Twitter, Bronson Reed reflected on the relentless nature of The Vision, posting:

“Hate all you want.

“You can’t stop the Vision.”

With the titles back in The Vision’s hands, Paul Heyman would also share his thoughts on the result in a backstage video shown on WWE Raw and shared on Twitter, saying:

“First step. But, it’s only the first step.”

Initially walking away, Heyman would return to the collective to praise one star in particular for getting something accomplished tonight, referencing Maxxine Dupri, who had her arms wrapped around Theory.

The Maxxine Dupri Vision

Maxxine Dupri has seemingly been circling The Vision, and Austin Theory in particular, for several weeks now, recently describing the faction as “a little misunderstood“.

A former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, the star saw an in-ring Raw return on last week’s episode, losing to Raquel Rodriguez, having previously competed on the Netflix show back in March, losing to Nattie. Recent Main Event matches have largely seen losses, with only one victory over Nikkita Lyons in May.

Her fortunes have been outside of competition, however, standing up to Chad Gable as he tried to apologize for past actions, much to the annoyance of Becky Lynch, and now getting extremely close to Austin Theory and The Vision.

Dupri could be a strong addition to The Vision, having demonstrated her ability to mould herself through past associations with the likes of Nattie and Becky Lynch. She may not be the most imposing star in the women’s roster, but she’s demonstrated that she can pull out an aggressive streak when it’s needed.

The Vision continues to have issues with injury, seeing Reed sidelined and Logan Paul recovering from a biceps tear, although still present and vocal. Dupri may not be at the level of either Reed or Paul, but she can very much add something new to the faction, assuming they use her as something other than set dressing for Austin Theory.
