WWE Stars Set For Big Interpromotional Appearance Update WWE

Rossy Ogawa’s new Marigold wrestling promotion could see more members of the WWE women’s roster taking part.

It has recently been reported that there is a “working relationship” between Marigold and WWE, with Ogawa being present at WrestleMania 40.

New WWE signing Giulia is set to assist Ogawa in starting the promotion, with its first show set for May 20, 2024.

Further details of involvement from the WWE women’s roster has now been revealed by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, saying:

“[Giulia] would probably be on those big shows as much as possible, and also they’re going to see if they can get talent from WWE for those big shows.

“Right now, based on the press conference, the talent that they’re looking at is IYO [SKY] and Kairi Sane.

“Basically woman that have already worked for [Stardom] in the past as opposed to bringing in a Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Rhea Ripley, Bayley or whoever. Although that could happen too.”

Kairi Sane and IYO SKY were named in a Tokyo Sports report on Ogawa’s new promotion.

Under Ogawa, Bea Priestley (now Blair Davenport) was among the current WWE stars who worked for Stardom, as was Viper (now Piper Niven).

A photo of Niven and Ogawa together during WrestleMania week was shared on social media and can be seen below.
