WWE Star Pushing To Be Added To WrestleMania 40 Match WWE

WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Baron Corbin has once again pitched for himself to be added to a title match set for WrestleMania 40.

A big WWE Tag Team Title match is planned for the April 6-7 event, with Damian Priest and Finn Balor to put their gold on the line in a six-team ladder match.

While all of the teams have been announced following a number of qualifying matches, Baron Corbin has taken to social media to argue that he and Bron Breakker should be in the bout.

Replying to a tweet pointing out that WrestleMania is just a week away, Corbin shared a video of himself and Breakker, writing:

Still think the Wolfdogs should have got a shot to get those tag titles!

Corbin has pitched for him and Breakker to be added to the tag-team ladder match on several occasions.

While Breakker is officially a SmackDown talent, the NXT Tag Team Champion is currently not scheduled to compete at WrestleMania.

He and Corbin will defend their NXT Tag Team Championship at the April 5 Stand & Deliver event against either the OC, Axiom & Nathan Frazer or Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro, with the #1 contender’s match slated for the April 2 edition of NXT.

The Wolfdogs won the NXT Tag Team Championship from Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo on the February 13 edition of NXT, after winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament at the February 4 NXT Vengeance Day event.

Breakker has since joined the main roster, signing with SmackDown on the February 16 episode.

An update has emerged on a team potentially pulled from this WrestleMania ladder match, which you can read more about right here.
