Popular WWE Star Reveals Goal To Main Event WrestleMania

WWE star Bayley has revealed her next WrestleMania goal, after winning the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40.

Sunday night was huge for Bayley, who defeated IYO SKY to win the WWE Women’s Title in her first WrestleMania singles match.

This match took place in the co-main event spot of WrestleMania 40 Night Two, ahead of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship main event.

In a WWE Digital Exclusive interview following her match, Bayley revealed that her goal for next year is to headline WrestleMania.

Commenting on the possibility of her main-eventing the Show of Shows, Bayley said:

“I never thought that the singles match at WrestleMania was a goal until I realised that I hadn’t had one. I did a lot of things, I won the Royal Rumble, that was one of the last things I needed to tick off my box.

“But as you can see this wasn’t the main event, right? I was one match away from main-eventing WrestleMania. Cody’s going to get this one tonight. I’m a freaking Cody crybaby that’s right.

“I’ll cry all the way with my championship to him and clink it when he’s done with this because we are the 2024 Royal Rumble (winners) and that dude’s about to win a championship so he can have that time.

“My goal will come at another time, when Paramore can be here.”

Bayley had previously expressed interest in having Paramore play her to the ring during her WrestleMania 40 entrance, but announced ahead of the show that the band was unable to appear due to scheduling conflicts.

In the main event of WrestleMania 40 Sunday, Cody Rhodes pinned Roman Reigns to end the Tribal Chief’s 1316 day reign with the WWE Universal Championship.
