WWE announced their complete 2022 pay-per-view schedule today (October 25), and with it there were a few interesting takeaways, including SummerSlam taking place in July for the first time ever.
Also interesting was that WWE had not listed events for the months of February and October, but said the details would be revealed at a later date. These are the months that WWE usually holds their Super Showdown and Crown Jewel events respectively.
In an update from the Wrestling Observer, WWE sources have confirmed that that the plan is for the unannounced shows in February and October to be held in Saudi Arabia, as many had expected.
WWE also officially announced that next year’s WrestleMania will be two nights for the third straight year, and that travel packages will be available next month.
