Former WWE NXT star Xia Brookside has returned to STARDOM and formed a new faction, following her WWE departure.
Brookside and Mariah May appeared alongside Mina Shirakawa at the December 29 STARDOM Dream Queendom 2 event, accompanying Shirakawa to the ring for the Cosmic Angels’ match against Donna Del Mondo.
After Shirakawa and Unagi Sayaka picked up the win, Shirakawa attacked Sayaka before revealing that she, May and Brookside will be known as ‘Club Venus’.
In a post-match interview, Brookside stated that she’s happy to be back with STARDOM.
Xia Brookside, the daughter of wrestling veteran and WWE Performance Center coach Robbie Brookside, last wrestled for STARDOM in July 2019 at the Takoaka 5th Anniversary Show.
Xia wrestled for WWE for four years, making her debut in the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament. She mainly wrestled for the NXT UK brand up until her WWE release in the summer.
The second generation star was one of a number of NXT UK stars who were released by WWE in August following the announcement that the brand’s hiatus ahead of the launch of NXT Europe.
She previously expressed a desire to one day return to WWE.
