WWE Star Expresses How Happy They Were To See IYO SKY Win Money In The Bank

A WWE star has expressed how happy they were to see IYO SKY win the Money In The Bank contract.

At WWE Money In The Bank 2023, IYO SKY won the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Overcoming former champions like Becky Lynch and Bayley, this proved to be the biggest win for the former NXT Women’s Champion’s stint on the main roster.

During her run on the developmental brand, SKY not only made a name for herself in singles competition, but she also won NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship gold alongside Zoey Stark.

Speaking with Jim Varsallone, Stark discussed how happy she felt seeing her former tag team partner win the briefcase. She said:

“It was an insane feeling (to watch IYO SKY win Money in the Bank). I was so incredibly happy for her and I was actually being able to sit there and watch her grab that briefcase and the reaction that she got, it just made me feel so good for her to actually see her get that opportunity.”

Zoey Stark is currently aligned with Trish Stratus where they are feuding with Becky Lynch on the Monday Night Raw brand.

On the July 24 edition of WWE Raw, Lynch defeated Stark to earn a rematch against Stratus at SummerSlam 2023 on August 5.
