An update has emerged on how WWE sees Zoey Stark, amid speculation about her next move after leaving Trish Stratus at Payback 2023.
Stark was called up to the main roster in the WWE Draft before aligning herself with Trish Stratus in May.
Stratus took the rising star under her wing and the duo worked as a tandem up until the September 3 premium live event, at which Stark dropped Stratus with her Z360, ending their partnership.
With Stark now on her own, there has been a lot of speculation about how WWE will present her moving forward.
Per Fightful Select, Stark has been looked upon favourably since ‘not missing a beat’ returning to the ring following her nine month hiatus in NXT due to a torn ACL and meniscus injury.
It was noted that WWE made sure that Stark got multiple opportunities on Main Event, for which she received good reviews internally, ahead of her appearance in January’s Royal Rumble match.
Shortly after her Royal Rumble appearance, she was slated for a main roster call-up.
This report comes after a wrestling veteran stated that he believes Triple H has been preparing Stark for a run as a top star.
