Matt Cappotelli Being Considered For WWE Hall Of Fame 2019?
The world of wrestling awoke to the sad news that former WWE and OVW wrestler Matt Cappotelli passed away last Friday, and although he may not have been the most successful star in the company’s history, his death at such a tender age has hit wrestling hard.
However it seems that Cappotelli will get his recognition, with Cage Side Seats reporting that that following his death, he is being considered for a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame next year via the Warrior Award.
Ruby Riott Injury Update
It was reported earlier this week that Ruby Riott had suffered a sprained MCL during a match at a live event over the weekend in a losing effort to Dana Brooke. That bit of the story isn’t important, I just wanted to remind everyone that Dana Brooke won a match.
WWE.com revealed that Riott had undergone an MRI but didn’t give any details on recovery. Rajah are now reporting that Riott’s next evaluation is on July 30th, suggesting she could be back around that time too.
Bray Wyatt Injury Update
Rajah are also reporting that Bray Wyatt is set have his next evaluation today following his head-on car crash last week. Wyatt wasn’t on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, but WWE are clearly hopeful that he will be able to wrestle in his schedule Tag Team Championship defense against The B-Team at Extreme Rules, as they still haven’t removed the match from the card. Rajah write, “his match at Extreme Rules is still being advertised so that would imply that WWE is optimistic he will be ready by then.”
