Following last night’s episode of WWE Raw, a Triple Threat Tag Team Title Match was announced for next week’s episode, due to be broadcast on August 13. The show will be the go-home edition of Raw before SummerSlam.
The current champions, the B-Team, made up of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, were challenged by the Revival – Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder – on last night’s episode of Raw but the match ended in a double disqualification after the Deleters of Worlds – Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt – interfered and attacked both teams. It was later announced that the three teams would battle next week in a Triple Threat, with the Raw Tag Team Championships on the line.
The B-Team won the titles at Extreme Rules from Hardy and Wyatt, and have remained undefeated since re-branding themselves as the B-Team.
Without a doubt, the result of next week’s match will influence the inevitable SummerSlam match for the titles, potentially with a rematch in the works between the three teams.
