It is being reported by PWInsider that Rowan of the Bludgeon Brothers suffered an injury during the SmackDown Tag Team Title match against New Day at SummerSlam.
The source states that while details are unclear, the blow appears to be a bicep injury, but goes on to reiterate that nothing has yet been confirmed.
Rowan was left off Monday night’s live event in Atlantic City and the injury is currently being evaluated.
The Bludgeon Brothers, who retained their titles on Sunday after getting themselves disqualified when Rowan attacked their Unicorn loving opponents with his massive mallet, are set for a rematch on tonight’s SmackDown Live with a no disqualification stipulation.
ProWrestlingSheet are speculating that tonight’s bout could be used as a way to write the former Wyatt Family member off of TV.
We at WrestleTalk wish Rowan all the best in his recovery if the reports are indeed true.
