Punishment Martinez has finally arrived in NXT. The former Ring Of Honor World Television Champion made his official debut for the developmental brand this past weekend at a live event in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Back on September 29th, Martinez competed in his last ROH pay-per-view Death Before Dishonor, defeating tag team specialist Chris Sabin. However, the big news came after the match when Jeff Cobb made his debut by stopping Martinez from his violent attack against Sabin.
Speculation was that Martinez was finished with Ring of Honor – he reportedly opted to not resign with the promotion and eventually dropped the ROH World Television title to Cobb during the Death Before Dishonor tapings, which was his final match with the company.
Martinez confirmed the rumors when he signed with WWE back in October. Days later, the company confirmed that Martinez was the newest recruit in NXT, along with Chelsea Green, Mia Yim, ‘The King of Bros’ Matt Riddle, Humberto Carrillo, Daniel Vidot, and Jordan Omogbehin. There’s still no word yet on when he’s set to make his television debut for NXT.
