Raw was really bad this week. Raw was really bad last week. Raw will probably be really bad next week.
Every year in the two months between November’s Survivor Series and January’s Royal Rumble, WWE fans are subjected to week after week of pointless TV, and this year has been no different.
Repetitive matches, uninspired writing, and utterly lacklustre feuds have plagued Monday nights, and it doesn’t look like that’s about to change.
Unfortunately for WWE, their fans aren’t as stupid as they seem to think they are, and the viewership ratings are proving that.
Last week’s 2.49 million average was pretty poor, so looking at this week’s 2.37 million average must have given WWE officials heart attacks.
Given that the majority of the show was building towards a Baron Corbin vs. Finn Balor main event, it’s hardly surprising that a large portion of the audience gave up during the third hour.
Just do it better, please.
