Andrade “Cien” Almas is no more.
A graphic on SmackDown Live advertising his match with Rey Mysterio listed him simply as Andrade, with the Almas surname inexplicably dropped. Later on when Corey Graves was hyping the match, he also referred to him as Andrade.
Andrade follows in the footsteps of many many members of the roster who have lost half of their name over the years. Those include:
- Elias Samson
- Big E Langston
- Adrian Neville
- Gene Snitsky
- Alexander Rusev
- Carlito Caribbean Cool
- Antontio Cesaro
- Apollo Crews
- Natalya Neidhart
- Luke Harper
- Erick Rowan
- Tamina Snuka
They just can’t help themselves, can they?
