Tye Dillinger Reveals Name Change On Twitter

Last week, then-SmackDown Live superstar Tye Dillinger (real name Ron Arniell) took to Twitter to get in front of the news that he had asked for his release from the company. After years of minimal to no booking, it appeared the ‘Perfect 10’ was done although he had nothing but respect for the promotion, its staff, and his fellow wrestlers:

In WWE, however, no one leaves until they say you have as evidenced by several superstars such as the Revival and Mike & Maria Kanellis failing to get their releases earlier in the year.

This one was different though with the promotion announcing that they had actually granted Dillinger his wish on Twitter two days later.

Now, Tye has changed his name on social media to his former indie wrestling name, Shawn Spears. Remember that name as it will likely turn up in several other promotions in the coming months where Spears can show off his talent more than ever before.
