Sick Of WWE Commentary? Now You Have An Alternative

I am fairly sure I am not alone in wishing WWE main roster commentary was considerably better than it is. SmackDown is not so bad but Raw is an utter chore to endure.

Whether it be because of Renee Young making random irritating noises and completely redundant points, cantankerous Corey Graves arguing with whoever takes the third seat in the booth or Michael “IT’S THE BIG DAWWWGGG” Cole and his countless flaws, I often find myself wishing there was an alternative option to the main commentary trio.

Well, my prayers and those of many others have now been answered! At this Sunday’s upcoming Fastlane pay-per-view, WWE is holding a Watch Along hosted by Pat McAfee, featuring active superstars and WWE legends watching Fastlane and giving their own “candid commentary” and live reactions.

Confirmed to be involved are Alexa Bliss, The IIconics, Christian, Mustafa Ali, New Day and more. All of these sound like much better options than Cole!

Watch Along will be available on WWE’s various social channels, including YouTube, Facebook and Twitter and starts at 7pm ET. Here is the full press release from WWE:

This Sunday, you’re invited to the ultimate WWE Fastlane party. WWE Superstars and Legends will join host Pat McAfee to watch WWE Fastlane backstage at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, and you can watch with them live on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Guests who will be popping in and out of this special WWE Watch Along livestream include Alexa Bliss, The New Day, Mustafa Ali, The IIconics, Natalya, Beth Phoenix, Christian and Cathy Kelley. And that’s just the names we know so far. There’s no telling who might crash this party.

You’ll hear candid commentary from our guests, get live reactions from the Superstars after some of the night’s biggest matches, and might even have the opportunity to throw out some questions and commentary of your own.

You won’t want to miss WWE Watch Along, so tune in to WWE Fastlane, streaming live on Sunday, March 10, at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network, and watch along with the Superstars on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Will you be watching Fastlane on mute and replacing the live commentary with Watch Along like us? Let us know in the comments below.
