WWE announced in a tweet that Samoa Joe will defend his United States Championship on Smackdown Live this Tuesday night against former champion R-Truth.

Truth captured the title from Shinsuke Nakamura on the 29th January episode of Smackdown and defended the title against Rusev as well as in a triple threat match against Andrade and Rey Mysterio.
However, Truth’s fairytale was ended on March 5th by Samoa Joe in a match that also featured Andrade and Rey Mysterio. The four aforementioned men would do battle at Fastlane for the United States Championship, making Tuesday’s match Joe’s first singles defence but his second overall.
WWE also announced a huge tag team bout for tomorrow night’s episode, with the League of Nations 2.0, consisting of Rusev, Nakamura, Sheamus and Cesaro taking on the relative newcomers in Aleister Black and Ricochet and the seasoned veterans of The Hardy Boyz.
The match follows up an angle following the Aleister Black and Ricochet vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev match last week.
Both matches should not only be great from an in-ring perspective but should also provide us with more an indication on what the plans for all of the superstars will be for WrestleMania 35 in just 27 days.
