Yet another name looks to be departing WWE shortly, with Rhyno telling Press & Guide (as reported by Fightful) that he may be looking to leave the promotion when his contract expires in July.
“I love working with WWE, they’re great, but I might have to go somewhere else. I don’t know yet.”
Rhyno has not wrestled for WWE since February and his profile has been moved to WWE’s alumni section, despite him being announced for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania on Sunday.
The former ECW Champion was previously thought to have retired in December having lost a retirement bout to tag partner Heath Slater, thanks to the machinations of stand-in Raw GM Baron Corbin. He continued to wrestle after that and has said he wants to keep stepping in the ring until he is 50 years old.
