It was announced last week that Dean Ambrose would be making his first post-WWE appearance not in a ring, but as a character in the upcoming film Cagefighter.
Ambrose, now going under the name Jon Moxley, left WWE at the end of April after refusing to sign a new contract earlier this year.
While many thought him leaving was all a work, it now seems that it was anything but, and fans will now be wondering when the lunatic without a fringe will be back in the ring.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, fans won’t have to wait too long, because they understand that Moxley will be taking indie bookings as soon as Cagefighter has finished filming.
While we don’t know when that is, it’s not a Hollywood blockbuster so it will probably take a few months at most to get it all sorted.
This would seemingly rule out appearing at Double or Nothing or for AEW just yet, but perhaps the film makers are a bit more lenient than Ambrose’ former employers.
