According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Triple H and WWE are interested in signing Sari Fujimura.
Despite only being 23-year-old, Fujimura has eight years of professional wrestling experience under her belt and is widely regarded as one of the best female wrestlers in the world.
Meltzer notes that during WWE’s most recent tour of Japan, Triple H used the time to scout Fujimura, and the company are said to be very interested in bringing her in:
“When Paul Levesque was in Japan, he was scouting Sari Fujimura, 23, better known as Saree, who is one of the best women wrestlers in the world. She is currently under contract to the Diana promotion. She’s also the current champion in both the Sendai Girls and Diana promotion”
While nothing has been reported or confirmed about how WWE sees Fujimura fitting in, one has to assume that the company will be looking to bring her in to NXT.
