Renee Young has been a commentator on WWE Monday Night Raw for just under a year now, and at first her appointment was widely praised by fans.
Since then, fans seem to have soured on her, with many taking to social media to insult her skills.
Renee has now responded to some of the criticism in a passionate tweet:
Here’s the truth. I know im not great on commentary, but it’s my job. I try to get better each week. People love to tell me how bad I am at it as if I think I’m great at it. So I should just quit? What would that say about me?Not easy to learn a skill on a gigantic global tv show

She has been incredibly humble in her reply as she admits she is still learning the ropes. As she points out, it’s an very difficult job and one that she has had to learn on national TV.
It hasn’t helped her cause that she has WWE officials in her ear at all times telling her what to say.
Several WWE stars have jumped to defend Renee as well, including Seth Rollins.
No idea how I got tagged into this thread/these tweets, but @ReneeYoungWWE is a trailblazing badass and awesome at her gig and if anyone uses their cowardly thumbs to belittle her then I hope those folks drown in their shame. You rock Renee. https://t.co/onPqkzxTQg
