Tonight’s WWE Raw saw the last two Raw first round matches in the WWE King of the Ring tournament.
The first was won by Ricochet who defeated Drew McIntyre and will face Samoa Joe in the quarter-finals. Joe defeated Cesaro in the first round last week.
Later in the show, Baron Corbin defeated The Miz to stamp his ticket to the quarter-finals. He’ll be taking on Cedric Alexander who beat Zayn in the first round.
Tomorrow’s SmackDown – which we will have full live coverage for here at WrestleTalk.com – will see the first round culminate with Buddy Murphy vs. Ali and Shelton Benjamin vs. Chad Gable.
The quarter finals will be held next week, and the semi-finals will take place at Madison Square Garden on September 8 and 9 for Raw and SmackDown respectively.
The September 15 Clash of Champions show in Charlotte will host the final.
