This evening’s NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff saw two titles change hands with new Tag Team and Women’s Champions being crowned.
The plucky Welsh duo of Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster were victorious in a three-way match that also included Mark Coffey and Wolfgang of Gallus, and defending NXT UK Tag Champions Zack Gibson and James Drake.
Gibson and Drake became inaugural champions at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool this past January, beating Tyler Bate and Trent Seven in the final of a tournament for the titles.
The second title change of the night saw Scotland’s Kay Lee Ray triumph over Aussie Toni Storm for the NXT UK Women’s Championship.
Storm had held the title since she beat inaugural champ Rhea Ripley at TakeOver: Blackpool.
In other results from the show, Noam Dar defeated Travis Banks in the opener, Cesaro made his brand debut by defeating Ilja Dragunov, Joe Coffey survived in a Last Man Standing match against Dave Mastiff, and WALTER retained the WWE UK Title against Tyler Bate in a superb main event.
