It has already been reported that when SmackDown Live moves to FOX, each of WWE’s shows will have completely separate announce teams, meaning Corey Graves won’t be calling both Raw and SmackDown Live.
It also means that the excellent Nigel McGuinness will no longer be calling 205 Live as he will now solely be commentating on NXT on Wednesday nights alongside Mauro Ranallo and Beth Phoenix.
Replacing McGuinness is Dio Maddin, an NXT star formerly known by his real name Brennan Williams.
Maddin was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and played college football at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before stints in the NFL with the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans.
He was signed by WWE in 2016, but has since made very little impact in the ring, appearing in a handful of live event matches and dark matches for TV tapings.
Below you can see a few shots of him in action.
Well said, @GREATBLACKOTAKU.
