The next generation of WWE Superstars signed to NXT developmental deals train and work on their skills at the WWE Performance Center in Tampa, Florida.
To ensure that the future wrestlers are of the highest quality, WWE is always looking to hire the best coaches and trainers from the world of professional wrestling.
Along with the likes of Shawn Michaels, Matt Bloom and William Regal, PWInsider is reporting that Alex Shelley has been working as a guest coach at the Performance Center this week.
Shelley shared the following image on Twitter, seemingly confirming his guest trainer role.
I love wrestling. I am the Multiple Man of the industry: a thousand lives inna thousand different places. Thanks everyone who helped me get this far. pic.twitter.com/t2VKTpnUL6

While Shelley never worked for WWE during his career, he wrestled matches for the likes of ROH, TNA and NJPW. Even holding various championships in the three aforementioned promotions.
Shelley is widely regarded as a great wrestler, so the WWE Performance Center students will likely be learning a lot from the former TNA X Division Champion.
It is not yet known whether WWE higher-ups will be looking to bring Shelley in as a full-time trainer. Make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest on the matter.
