During his feud over the WWE Championship on Smackdown with Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton recruited the help of The Revival.
The pair continued to work together on TV in the weeks that followed. The trio went their separate ways after Orton and Kingston’s feud finished.
Many people were fond of the FTRKO faction. The Revival finally felt somewhat important while stood next to the multi-time WWE Champion.
Any hopes of the faction reuniting in the near future will have been squashed during the WWE Draft when Randy was drafted to Raw, away from Smackdown’s Dash and Dawson.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that Orton pitched the idea of the faction staying together for much longer to Vince McMahon.
The report notes that McMahon rejected the idea for some reason, and the trio were split in the WWE Draft
“We’re told by multiple sources that Orton pushed to do more work with them, even going as far as pitching a faction to Vince McMahon personally. The idea fell on deaf ears and Orton and the Revival were put on different brands in the WWE draft.”
Let’s just hope that WWE and Vince McMahon decided to reject the idea because they have bigger plans for both The Revival and Randy Orton. However, something tells me that that isn’t the case.
