PWInsider is reporting that WWE has rehired former creative team member Chris DeJoseph, who occasionally appeared as an on-screen character as Big Dick Johnson.
He left MLW last night only a month after joining as Co-Executive Producer, and the report notes his talks with WWE actually predated him joining MLW.
DeJoseph had a creative role in WWE from 2004-2010, eventually becoming Senior Writer/Producer. It is said he is expected to return as soon as this month.
After he left WWE the first time, he was part of the founding group for Lucha Underground and had the Co-Executive Producer role there too.
He’s also worked as Senior Story Producer for some reality TV products such as Big Brother and Hotel Paradise.
